From 0 to Senior Software Developer
In 1992, at the age of 10, I wrote my first line of code in BASIC on a Commodore 64. I was so fascinated by this that I began to train as a self-taught software developer.
30 years later, I got to know various scripting and programming languages. These include PHP, JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Objective-C and Swift.
As a software developer, there is always something new to learn.
I founded my first software company in 2000 and had to learn very quickly what it means to run a business.
This was followed in 2003 by the founding of a limited company (the German GmbH).
As managing partner, I was responsible for technical management, product and software development, IT and infrastructure, project management and staff management in both the first and second company for 6 years.
After my time as a founder, I became self-employed to pursue my passion as a software developer.
As a freelancer I have been involved in the development of web and software solutions for 15 years. I have worked in a wide variety of sectors and areas.
As a creative mind with lots of ideas, I support my customers in solving technical software challenges and developing new products and processes.
My own products for Apple's macOS/iOS platforms round off my portfolio.
